Some campaign contributions are just plain weird.
What, for example, is Jean A. Saccornan, a dance instructor from New Jersey, doing giving $4,200 to Ray Meier for his campaign for Congress?
Does Ray Meier support a government-funded waltz academy in Atlantic City, along with special tax breaks for dancers?
I have no special thoughts about this contribution - only a profound sense of disorientation akin to the feeling I had the first time I saw one of the cubist paintings of Pablo Picasso.

Is this any more strange than the fact that Arcuri's kids donated thousands to his campaign? Anyone else here know a 12 year old that has $2,000 and is willing to contribute it to a campaign?
Ha! That's just sad...and a little criminal I think?
Could it be a relative with the same name as his kid? Geez, you guys just love to jump to the worse conclusion possible.
Hardly criminal. Although I am sure it will become criminal on this blog
Don't be too sure. I'll let the Republican blogger at CNY Underground fret about it. He's already cited the criminal code he thinks it violated. But then, giving himself the name Biggus Dickus... well...
Arcuri could always loan the campaign money if he really wanted to go that route, so it doesn't seem like a big deal to me. More embarrassing and silly than anything else.
Ok let me guess. Ray Meier loves to dance. Who would have guessed a stupid looking thing like him could move to music?

I wonder if Meier is giving his wife a spousal salary out of donations. That's what Sherry Boehlert did. That's right folks. Wives of Republican congressmen get salaries of $38k just for staying married to the pigs at the trough. Remember that next time you give till it hurts.
