It's a Saturday in July and the grass is long, so today's reason to vote for Michael Arcuri for Congress will be short.
I've written about this before: Michael Arcuri supports an increase in the federal minimum wage, which hasn't been increased in almost ten years now.
Ray Meier doesn't. Ray Meier sides with corporate bosses against working American families.
So, reason #6 to vote for Arcuri is a simple one. By standing for an increase in the federal minimum wage, Mike Arcuri stands for the huge majority of the people of the 24th District who work hard for a living. Ray Meier stands with a tiny economic elite that makes its wealth from the work of other people.

I, for one Jon, would like to thank you for providing the people who read this blog with information regarding Mr. Arcuri. You, and you alone, provide valuable information on the democratic candidate for one of the largest congressional seats in New York State.
Well, thanks, but I have to correct you on a particular piece of information. The 24th district may be one of the physically larger congressional districts in New York State, but in terms of clout that really doesn't mean much. Seats for the U.S. House of Representatives are created in order to represent a certain number of people each, so, in theory, at least, each district should have the same number of people.
It does boggle my mind the way that the pro-Arcuri blogs have pretty much shut down, and Arcuri's own campaign web site has failed to provide much activity - not when Arcuri's Democratic opponents all dropped out, and not when the petitioning effort was completed.
Slow as sludge seems to be the name of this campaign.
